Will there be war??

Today the Ukraine government finally took action against the pro-Russian separatists. The situation in the Ukraine is very tense, precarious and dangerous at this time.

An employee of the Ukrainian State Security was killed and five others were injured in an anti-terrorist-operation in the city of Slavjansk in the eastern of the Ukrainian today. So says the Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov on Facebook.

Russia threatened the Ukraine with a military intervention should it use violence again the pro-Russian separatists. So what’s Putin’s next step? IMHO he now is caught between a rock and a hard place. If he doesn't take action, then he will be seen a weak. If he does take action then…we Europeans face a possible war.

Putin is playing with fire if you ask me! Most of the pro-Russia separatists are acting on Putin’s orders. We all know, but not many people are willing to admit this out loud.

Is it time for Europe to step up to the plate and make Putin stop the terror he’s causing the Ukraine? Until now it all still was based diplomacy, because if it comes to Putin the label says (handle with care). The man is insane and that makes him very dangerous.

So what will happen next? What is Putin’s next step? Will he risk a full blown war with Europe, the US and Japan? What about China? The Chinese are behind Putin!

Australia, they still have a lot to learn!

Endangered animals get their own park Australia!

The Australian state of New South Wales has ambitious plans for a "Jurassic Park" for endangered species. Three areas of approximately 16 square kilometers per piece will be the new residence of up to eight species that now hardly occur in Australia in the wild.

The areas are now part of national parks, but to protect the animals from predators, they are enclosed by fences. Visitors can take guided strolls through the park according to the proposal. What animals are going to roam around in the park is not yet certain. It possible will concern wild kangaroos, bandicoots, rats and mice.

According to local authorities, the parks need to ensure that the species not get extinct. How much the project will cost is unclear.

Well this sounds very good, now if Australia only would care so much about the other animals too. Take their sheep’s for instant, Most of them live a life in misery, they are abused in the worse way by the sheep-shearers. The shearing of sheep is done so violently that a lot of the poor animals’ loose tail and even their ears are sheared off. Also a lot of sheep lose their udders because of the violent treatment they get from the sheep-shearers. The sheep-shearers are so violent and rough that they don’t watch what they actually shear; they just don’t give a damn!

Another problem is that thousands’ of sheep are shipped off to the Middle East. The circumstances in which the sheep are transported are horrific. They get stuffed into the belly of a freight ship (and I mean stuffed literally) no food, no water and no fresh air. They don’t see the daylight for weeks during their trip to the Middle East. More than half of those poor sheep don’t survive. They die a slow and horrible death, in most cases by suffocation and dehydration.

Syria...

I just got the news that there was an attack in Syria and they used chemicals (poison gas)! Both the government and the opposition are pointing at each other. Personally I think only a coward would order such a horrible attack, knowing they hit, and kill civilians. It stuns me time and again that people are capable of such horrific deeds.  There still is a civil war going on in Syria, people who already didn’t have much to begin with, lost that little what they had. Imagine you have to flee your home and leave everything behind, terrible, just terrible.

Last year there also was an attack with chemical weapons in Syria which killed hundreds of people, innocent men, women and children! I've seen (on TV) what the victims had to endure after they survived such a horrific attack! I hope that karma will be a bitch to those who ordered the attack!

I’m curious what Europe and the US for that matter will do about this! 

The Pistorius trail...

Yeah, yeah I know but hey I just can’t help myself but I can’t resist writing about him.

Oscar Pistorius has been accused of "tailoring his evidence" at his murder trial, where he denies murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. Prosecutor Mr. Nel repeatedly challenged Oscar Pistorius "improbable" account of events while questioning him about the details of the night he shot his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

At one point the confrontation led an emotional Pistorius to admit he could be giving inconsistent answers because he was tired - prompting the judge to ask if he was able to continue with his evidence. I must admit, the man can act. Pistorius told the court that his first intention, when he heard a noise on February 14 was to, put me between the intruder and Reeva, and that he reached for his gun under the bed and told Reeva Steenkamp to call the police. Really? He didn't even verify that she was indeed in bed beside him? And Reeva hadn't screamed when he fired the first bullet? Let me tell you, I would have screamed myself hoarse after Oscar fired the first bullet.

It was not possible for Pistorius to say that there had been no screaming, when he admitted he could not hear properly because of the sound of the guns. How lame is that? Then Proceedings were briefly adjourned, after Pistorius broke down in the witness box. He breaks down a lot; well Reeva can’t breakdown anymore, because she’s dead! Shot by an ego-tripping, self-centered trigger happy maniac.

Oscar denies premeditated murder (I believe that one). He also denies illegally possessing ammunition in relation to Reeva Steenkamp's death. This is a lie IMHO. He also denies two further counts related to shooting a gun in public in separate incidents prior to the killing. Again a lie and that’s a fact (the restaurant shooting, for which his friend had to take the blame).

Oscar’s story doesn't add up on so many fronts and he doesn't even realize it, the poor fool!

Russia and the Ukraine...

I said it before and I will say it again, the Ukraine will eventually become Russian soil. Over the past week, protesters took over all government buildings in Donetsk and Luhansk. The pro-Russian demonstrators demanded more powers for their own region. They want the east joins Russia, like the Crimean peninsula.

You see, the Ukraine government threatened Russian separatists that they would remove them from the government buildings with any means necessary. The Russian separatists stayed put and nothing happened, the Ukraine government didn't follow through. This means that the Ukraine government is doomed. They don’t have the power to rule a country, let alone a country that’s in chaos and on the verge of a civil war.

Today pro-Russian separatists with automatic weapons raised roadblocks on roads that give access to the city Slavjansk in Eastern Ukraine. The blocks are built of sandbags and tires. At the checkpoints Russian and separatist flags are fluttering. Get this, armed men in camouflage uniforms have taken over the police station in Slavjansk.

The pro-Russian separatists demand a referendum the same as Crimea had earlier this year. The Ukraine government doesn't even have the power to stop this so called referendum, an illegal one at that.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Andrij Desjtsjytsia, has called on Russia to end the provocative actions of its agents'' in eastern Ukraine. He has called on his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov. Who has denied that Moscow pro-Russian rebels in eastern Ukraine supports. Of course they deny. Putin invented lying and denying!

My guess, Putin won’t stop until he has all of the Ukraine in his possession. Is Moldavia next? Who knows, with Putin your guess is as good as mine. 

My thoughts...

Hubby is away for work (all weekend) so it´s only Max and I. Max is my li´ll dog and my baby. This probably is my last weekend off so I will enjoy it to the fullest. What I miss most when I work a lot is blogging and writing. Last Friday continued writing on my novella again. The last few months were hectic and stressful which also meant, no time to write on my story.

I like to blog about things that interests me, like the Pistorius case. Ah, I could write every day about the SOB. I write a lot about the abuse of innocent animals that live a horrible live, think about the animals that are being used for testing all kinds of stuff. Animal testing is so yesterday, with all the modern techniques we have at our disposal, do we really need to administer chemicals in the eyes of those poor bunnies? No, we don’t! Still the cosmetic industry can’t seem to exist without abusing animals.

All over the world animals are abused for various reasons, and none of them good ones! People call themselves animal lovers, but why don’t they sign petitions to help animals in dire need? Yes they love their own pet, but that doesn’t make you an animal lover. Your pet is loved and has a good life; there are so many abused animals that live in hell, day after day. They desperately need our help, yet people who call themselves animal lover look the other way. My question is why? It only takes a minute to sign a petition. A minute for us humans means help for abused animals all over the world!

Unity is strength! Together we can make a difference! 

The black box of missing flight MH370

Did the signals really come from the black box of missing flight MH370? Only time will tell. Fact is that at any moment ( if it didn’t already happened) the battery of the black box will shut down. Still no one can pin point the exact location of the missing plane. There are so many things that are fishy, and every answer people get raises even more questions. The way it looks right now, I think that finding the Black box is like winning the lottery, thus nearly impossible.

Today it was announced that the co-pilot of flight MH370 tried to commit a call just before the Boeing 777 Malaysian Airlines on March 8 of the radar disappeared. The mobile phone of Fariq Abdul Hamid made ​​contact with a cell tower when the plane was flying low near the Malaysian island of Penang. However, before the signal could be sent in order to take place, an actual phone call to a network base station, the following compound was already broken.

They want continue the search with the small submarine called, the “Abyss”, a boat of 4 meters in length and 66 centimeters in diameter that can be up to 6 kilometers under water has the ability to search 30 square kilometers per day. At that rate it would take more than four years to trace the whole area. The missing MH370 is probably at a depth of 4.5 kilometers, it should not be impossible to reach the plane.

My heart goes out to all the people who are left behind, not knowing what happened to their loved ones. But I have no doubt in my heart that all the people on board of that plane are dead. I pray that they will eventually find the missing plane.

SeaWorld at Fault in Trainer’s Death!

The D.C. Circuit’s decision to the effect that SeaWorld must keep trainers out of the water, signals an end to the days of trainers standing and riding on orcas for human amusement at SeaWorld. With the life-threatening dangers to trainers and the detrimental effects of enslaving intelligent, social, and far-ranging orcas and confining them to concrete tanks, SeaWorld’s tawdry shows will soon be a thing of the past. SeaWorld needs to make the only responsible and humane choice and develop coastal sanctuaries for the orcas it confines and finally bring its business into the 21st century.

A senior trainer at SeaWorld testifies that SeaWorld knew of the danger the trainers are in when in the water with orcas. Orcas also the ones living in a cramped concrete water tank at SeaWorld are and will remain wild animals. These magnificent animals are powerful and they can become deadly when provoked. Believe me when I say that the orcas at SeaWorld are provoked every single day. To keep the male orcas from fighting each other they get sedated. If orcas had enough space they simply would avoid each other, but at SeaWorld, this isn’t possible. Orcas belong, like any other wild animal that’s kept for human entertainment, in the wild. Animals are not ours to abuse and use for entertainment, period! Hell I don’t even force my li’ll dog to preform if he doesn’t want too. After all he’s not mine to abuse or to use for entertainment!

I hope that SeaWorld soon get their act together and create these much needed sanctuaries alongside the coast were orcas and dolphins alike finally get some peace and quiet. A life that they deserve!

I for one keep signing the petitions to urge SeaWorld to create sanctuaries and stop use and abuse these beautiful creatures. 

Pope Franciscus, it’s more than an outrage!

Is he speaking in the name of god? Is he speaking in the name of Jesus? Or is he just in favor of child molesters?

Today Pope Franciscus asked for forgiveness, not for himself, after all he is holier than a saint. No, today he had the nerve to asked forgiveness for the fact that priest have abused and molested children. Instead of punishing the monsters they call themselves priest he asked to forgive them. The sexually abusing of children by priests isn't something from the past. Priests sexually abused children in the past and still do so and probably will continue to do so in the near future. So why on earth is the pope asking us to forgive the bastards who raped children instead of give them the protection and help they so desperately needed. Articles like this make me sick to my stomach, ugh!

The Vatican actually doesn't anything to prevent priests from sexually abuse children. They don’t even punish those who are known as child molesters. This just is unbelievable, it just is!

Fact is that the Vatican doesn't acknowledge the child abuse by priests and that’s unforgivable IMHO. The pope isn’t god, yet he acts like he is. Would god forgive child molesters? I don’t think so! Children who are sexually abused are in most cases traumatized and scarred for life. How can we forgive someone who does that to an innocent child? Well, I for one can’t!!

Messages from the beyond?

Today I read an incredible story. China has a website where you can leave a message for a friend, family or loved one to read after that person has passed away. Maybe it’s just me being old fashion, but my hubby knows I love him with all that I am. My family and friends also know I love and appreciate them, that they are dear to me. So why tell someone you love them from after you are dead? People need to know that you and appreciate them for who they are while you’re still here on this earth. Well that’s my opinion anyways.

My mom died a sudden death, one day she had a cold, the next she was dying, just like that! I was with her at her home when it all went to hell. The doctor telling me that she wouldn't survive the night. My mom, she knew it too apparently, because she said her goodbye when she was taken to the ambulance. She died before they got her to the hospital. This all went down in a matter of not even an hour, just to give you an idea of how fast it all went to shit.

When I came into the living room that horrific night, I could tell that she was in a bad shape. I recognize a heart attack when I see one. My mom was in the middle of a huge heart attack, the doc wasn't even able to find het veins to enter the diuretics. By then her lunges were full of fluids and she was practically drowning.

Although I was sick with grief, I love my mom so much, I never had the thought * I wanted to tell her so much and now I can’t anymore*. She knew I loved her dearly and I knew she loved me just as much. What I try to say is, let spouses, family and friends know how you feel while you still can tell them yourself. People should hear it coming directly from you and not read it afterwards on a website. Again maybe I’m old fashioned *shrug*. Hell I even tell and show my li’ll dog how much I love him. 

I’m back…for now!

These last few weeks were all about work. Last Sunday was my first day off in weeks. I’m not complaining, I love working especially when it’s for my own company LOL.

So the subjects of this blog are…Pistorius (how could I not?) Flight MH370.

Australian officials told the press that they are certain that they found the location of the black box regarding flight MH370. I don’t know about that, isn't it a coincidence that just when the black box is about to shutdown they come up with the location? I mean they searched in so many different areas, and in just few days and the black box will definitely stop giving signals. The whole story surrounding flight MH370 is awkward if you ask me! Somehow the disappearing of the triple 7 from Malaysian Airlines is fishy, but hey that’s paranoia me talking.

What made me wonder was that when flight MH370 disappeared they automatically assumed that there were only two flight routes that the pilots could have taken. Well how totally stupid is that! If I would hijack an airplane I certainly would avoid the official flight routes. It’s totally insane to take the official route, because that were they start searching right after a plane disappears from the radar, right? Anyways I keep watching the news about flight MH370. My heart goes out to the passengers and the people the left behind, how still can’t find the closure they so desperately need.

Oscar Pistorius…

Ah what can I say about him. First of all, I really don’t buy his crocodile tears that he so wonderfully showed off in court. I must admit, his performance was worth an Oscar (no pun intended). Again who shoots through a closed door when there are people you can’t locate in the house? A closed door, you don’t know who’s behind it, you don’t know who’s in the bathroom! Still you shoot, how weird and awkward and stupid can you be? IMHO Pistorius is a coward and he has an ego that bigger than Africa itself. I just don’t buy his crocodile tears! Also I’m glad I wasn't watching when they showed a photo of Reeva Steenkamp were her head was shot to pieces, god that must have been awful. Her parents go through hell as it is and on top-of-that they show the world a picture of a dead Reeva, shot in the head. I still think he shot her in a rage, Oscar is not only a violent person, but he’s also a coward. He fired a gun in a restaurant and asked his friend to take the blame (stupid friend did it too). Only a coward will asked another person to take the blame.

Also I think he’s a bit insane and he is master a manipulating people, it made me sick to my stomach watching him in pull of his breakdown in court this week. I only hope that others don’t buy it, I saw a picture of a laughing Oscar Pistorius after the cameras were shut down for the day. Someone however took his picture, I guess with his cell phone, and it showed a relaxed and smiling Oscar Pistorius. Like I said Oscar Pistorius is a top notch performer IMHO.
