Russia is in a deep crisis!

Ok, I just have to write about a stupid man that goes by the name of Putin! Some people should be prevented from leading a country!

First, the man steels part of the Ukraine, takes it like it belonged to him in the first place. To make things worse, he orders Russian Separatists to take over the south part of the Ukraine (we all know that he wants it all). The government is furious and is sending its troops to chase the separatists back to Russia. To add insult to injury, Putin (stupid man as he is) points his finger at the Ukraine government, telling us and the world that they (Ukraine government) are the aggressors.

During the reign of Stalin's successor Khrushchev, (himself a Ukrainian) Crimea was transferred in 1954 to the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, ostensibly as a gesture of friendship between the Russian and Ukrainian people.

So now my question is…could Putin be right, was he in his right to claim Crimea back from the Ukraine?

Let me say this, is today someone came into my garden and claims it for himself, I would kick his ass to kingdom come.

Putin is looking for a way out of the crisis, caused by the Russian intervention in Ukraine. He is cornered by Western sanctions.

Putin is trying very carefully to bring the negotiations back on track looking Which output Putin, is still unclear.

Russia annexed Crimea early this year and the he intervened in the eastern Ukraine. Because of that, the United States and the European Union ordered various sanctions against the Kremlin.

Effect of sanctions

The sanctions slowly start to work. You see how the Russian economy has collapsed, the ruble crisis is addressed. Capital flees Russia and the Russian currency is worth less and less. Putin said earlier that external factors are the cause of these problems. Still the man doesn’t listen to anyone. He goes and keeps provoking other countries.

Early December Putin kept a press conference, telling everyone that there’s nothing to worry about and that in fact Russia is doing fine. Poor Russian people are fed lie after lie, it’s just so sad that most of them don’t really know what’s going on the world.

Fact: the Russian ruble has lost 90% of its value during 2014. This means that Russia is in huge trouble, the Russian economy is crumbling (fast).

Fact is, you don’t invade another country and simply claim it as yours, it’s just not done (except when your name is Putin) LOL

Charles and Diana documentary!

Prince Charles has ensured through lawyers that a documentary that looks back to the period after the death of Princess Diana (and his reaction to it), is not broadcast. Well not yet anyways. This shows us that Charles used a very PR team to get out the news as well as possible, and to restore its image. 

The reaction of the British royal family is scrutinized.

Charles and Diana were married in 1981 and together they had sons William and Harry. Their divorce was finalized in 1996. Diana was with her new love, Dodi Al-Fayed in a car crash in a tunnel in Paris where her life ended on August 31, 1997. This happened 8 months after my mom practically died in my arms of heart failure.

The first episode of “Reinventing the Royals” would be broadcast on January 4 on BBC 2. It seems that James Harding, director of BBC News, received a letter from the lawyers of Charles and Camilla. The broadcaster would have not been allowed to broadcast archive footage of the royals.

The broadcaster is planning to broadcast still the program later in the year. Ohhh I sure hope so!

Whatever Diana saw in Prince Charles is beyond me, really! I would call it the beauty and the beast. She was so beautiful, inside and out and she died much too soon.

What is it with airplanes this year?

Boeing in trouble landed safely at Gatwick airport London UK.

The Boeing 747 of British airline Virgin Atlantic has landed safely yesterday. It took three attempts for flight VS43 to land safely with approximately 400 passengers on board.

There were 20 ambulances ready as a precaution, this is a standard measure. Four fire engines to the plane, but they didn’t need to come into action, thank god for small favors!

It turned out that there were problems with the landing gear. A set of wheels would not be properly extended, and the right landing gear didn’t extent at all! Before they could do an emergency landing, the plane circled flying several laps over England as to burning fuel to lose some weight.

The aircraft was on-route from London Gatwick to Las Vegas, when it had to return to Gatwick airport. A witness saw the airplane above him, saying that the device 'shook'.

I’m just really happy that no one got hurt or killed in the process.

Again an incident with Air Asia!

While the wreckage of Air Asia flight QZ8501 found in the Java Sea, the occupants of another extension of the company escaped a disaster.

Air Asia flight Z2272 had to make an emergency landing in the Philippines, but shot off the runway. The incident was confirmed by Aviation Safety Network, where all incidents are tracked by aircraft.

The passengers had to use the slide to get out of the plane, according to initial reports all passengers were unharmed. They are collected at the airport and there are medically checked.

They say that the bad landing at Kalibo Airport was allegedly caused by bad weather.

Fate, Destiny, Karma…

It doesn’t matter how you call it, but I believe in karma, and destiny and fate. Why does one get killed and the other survives the same accident? Think about the family of 10 (6 adults and 4 children) they missed flight QZ8501 to Singapore. There is a man who survived 2 yeas, 2 plane crashes. I myself survived a horrible accident in the Swiss Alps, I shouldn’t be alive today, but hey here I am. I could go on and on, but the fact is, if your time here on earth is up, then it’s up and you die. It’s not macabre, it’s a simply fact of life. 

Bodies recovered from wreckage QZ8501

I just got home from work, and I just have to share the (good?) news.

Indonesian rescuers have recovered the bodies of forty occupants of the Air Asia plane that crashed in the sea between the islands of Sumatra and Borneo crashed on Sunday December 30. The Indonesian navy announced Tuesday. Earlier in the day there were parts of the plane were found in the sea.

The debris and the deceased were floating in the sea between the islands of Sumatra and Borneo. Indonesian media on television showed images of two large objects with orange, white and gray pieces. Also, there were photos taken were you can see things that resemble life jackets, emergency slide and a plane door. 

The Indonesian also showed TV images from the corpses floating in the sea.

Part of the wreckage has been recovered. The authorities showed some objects during a press conference that was broadcast by the Indonesian television.

Even though it was expected, it was a bombshell for the relatives who were waiting on news, any kind of news regarding the missing plane. Terrible and I feel for all those who lost loved ones.

As I said before, I’m really glad they found the missing plane. 

Even though it must be devastating for the family and friends (survivors) but it’s better to know what happened with flight QZ8501. Now they can bring everyone home and say goodbye one last time.

I’m curious though as what happened, because no airplane falls from the sky just like that. According to Niki Lauda, who owns an airline company, the pilots of flight QZ8501 were experienced.

I had my lunch and I’ll be off now, walking the dog , doing last grocery shopping, then clean the house, kook dinner and...after all that, I’m gonna blog some more (when I still have the energy LOL) Because there is news about the Prince of Wales ;) 

The Norman Atlantic

The death toll from the fire on the ferry “Norman Atlantic” between Greece and Italy has risen to ten, but it is feared that many more people have been killed.

As of right now, all passengers have left the ship. The captain left along with some people from the Italian Navy left at 14.50 pm, they were investigating a possible cause of the fire. Dozens of people are still missing, and it’s unclear where they are. Media in Southern European countries mentions least 38 missing.

Strong winds, rain and hefty smoke hampered the rescue operation. The fire is under control.

Little is known about the cause of the fire. The ferry was traveling from Patras in Greece to Ancona in Italy.

Now get this…

The ferry "Norman Atlantic" media reports indicate that massive security flaws have been discovered by an inspection over a week ago. Defective fire doors, and defects in lifesaving systems, are among the security flaws. I saw the list and there’s more, much more!

A miracle?

This is so cool, I just read this and I have to share this amazing story with you. A family, 6 adults and 4 children missed flight QZ8501. They are still alive because they missed their flight, this is really amazing.  The family wanted to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Singapore, so they booked a flight at Asia Air. 

This family must have a really good guardian angel, I don’t have another explanation. The family had therefore actually booked Air Asia tickets at 07.30 AM, for a flight on Sunday morning. But the airline booked the flight over to 05.30 AM. 

The airline had called the family twice and because they couldn’t reach anyone, they emailed to let them know that the scheduled time had changed. But somehow, the family never got the message that the airline had changed the time of their flight.

Two days into the search for missing flight QZ8501 and they still haven’t found any clue what-so-ever. Tuesday they will continue the search, on land! They will search in the west of the province of Kalimantan, on the island of Borneo.

I truly hope that they at least will find some clues that lets us know what happened to flight QZ8501 so relatives can get closure.

Michael Schumacher

Time goes so fast, today, exactly one year ago, Michael Schumacher was in a serious skiing accident that almost cost him his life and left him in a coma for nearly 6 months.

Michael is getting treatment in Switzerland where he lives near Lake Lausanne. He has suffered amnesia and it seems that he can’t walk or talk. Michael communicated by blinking with his eyes. Will he ever be the same again? No, I don’t think so; the man suffered a major brain trauma. Michael is a fighter and right now, he’s in for the fight of his life.

Michael’s spokeswoman lets us know that he’s responding well and that Michael can communicate. That at least let us know that he’s aware of his surroundings, and that he recognizes people and that’s a good thing! Also Michael is working hard to be able to sit upright again, the man is simply amazing.

Did you know that, even it’s been a year since the accident; Michael’s sponsors are still faithful? That’s so great.

The search goes on...

Mystery in the sky…

Is history repeating itself? I sure hope not, but I’m afraid it’s doing just that, repeating itself. After flight MH370 disappeared from the radar, without as much as a trace, well 8 months later it happens to Asia Air. Flight QZ8501 went off the radar, and no one knows why. The plane simply disappeared, that’s it.

They found objects in the Java Sea, but the objects were not from the missing aircraft. The objects floated southwest of the island Pangkalan Bun, about 1100 kilometers from the last known location of the passenger plane. As there was the hope that it was debris from the missing device, but sadly that wasn’t the case.

Earlier in the day, an alarm has been collected during the search, south of Borneo. The exact location, however, can’t be determined by the auxiliaries.

Also an Indonesian helicopter spotted oil slicks at sea, east of the island of Belitung. This location was very close the point where the aircraft had last contact with air traffic control. The oil samples were examined on to see if they were from the missing flight QZ8501. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

Does this ring a bell? Yes it does, doesn’t it? Exactly, it all happened 8 months ago, when flight MH370 went off the radar and until today still hasn’t been found.

Presumably, the plane crashed into the Java Sea, no one knows for sure! The tension must be unbearable for the relatives of the passengers. Many of them were waiting for the Surabaya airport desperate for news of their loved ones. Also, Singapore has set up a center where relatives can come together.

My thoughts and prayers are for the relatives who still waiting for answers, and hopefully they will get them soon!

The search for Flight QZ8501

As I write this,  Flight QZ8501 is missing for almost 14 hours. It going to be a long, long night for the

The Indonesian authorities have suspended the search operation for missing aircraft Air Asia Sunday (local time) because it has become dark. The search will continue on Monday.

The plane with 162 passengers should have arrived in Singapore around 8.30 am local time, but about three minutes after it had taken off from Surabaya it disappeared without making any kind of contact. Since then, the plane is missing. Authorities presume that the plane has crashed in the Java Sea.

The airline spread Sunday for the second time, a new list of the nationalities of the passengers. In the most recent list of the passengers on board of flight QZ8501, 155 people from Indonesia, three from South Korea, one from Singapore, one from Malaysia, one from France and one from Britain.

This is a nightmare come to life. Think 8 months back, yes that right! 8 months ago MH370 disappeared from the radar, no distress call, no nothing! It’s like history is repeating itself. 

Air Asia Flight QZ8501

Yet another plane went missing.

Just like flight MH370: the plane went went off the radar without so much as a distress call.  

Just like flight MH370: despite knowing the coordinates, flight QZ8501 from Air Asia can’t be found!

An airliner from Air Asia with 155 passengers and seven crew members on board has disappeared from the radar. The plane flew from Surabaya (Indonesia) to Singapore. About half way on route, the Airbus 320-200 with flight number QZ8501, disappeared from the radar. The missing plane has probably been crashed, according to authorities. 

The plane should have landed in Singapore around 8:30 local time, but about three minutes after it had taken off from Surabaya it disappeared, without so much as contacting anyone, no SOS, no mayday, no nothing. At the time the plane went off the radar it presumably flew above the Java Sea. On board the aircraft were 156 people from Indonesia, three from South Korea, one from Singapore, one from Malaysia and one from France. There is a major search and rescue operation going on right this minute.

We still don't know much at this time, but what we do know is that the pilot wanted to change of route due to bad weather. He sought contact with air traffic control requesting to fly higher to avoid the thunderstorm. Not much later, it disappeared from the radar. The pilot gave no distress signal.

A crisis center already is arranged at Surabaya Juanda International Airport. Relatives of the missing travelers are there are waiting anxiously for news of flight QZ8501. This must be horrifying. 

According to the flight data, the missing plane crashed about 145 kilometers from the island of Billiton, which lies east of the island of Sumatra. A Boeing 737 of the Indonesian Air Force, six ships and three helicopters take part in the search and rescue operation.

Relatives are desperate when they search the list of passengers who were on board of the missing plane. It seems that about 23 people didn't check-in, so they didn't board the plane. I guess these people are celebrating their second birthday today. Talk about guardian angels…

Flight MH 370
Yes, we all remember, who could we not? There still isn’t any clue as what happened to flight MH 370. The missing plane could have landed somewhere on a deserted island for all we know. It doesn’t matter what we do or do not believe, the fact is that we simply don’t know what happened. 

I still feel for those who were left behind. Just imagine to lose a loved one is hard enough, but to lose a loved one and not knowing what happened to him or her must be devastating!

Just like with the still missing MH 370, ships, helicopters and planes are on their way for the search and rescue mission. Right now they are searching where, according the coordinates, the plane must have crashed. Will they find anything? I sure hope so.

Its 8 months now since MH370 went missing, and still nothing. The search for missing flight MH 370 is still going on; private companies are funding most of the search missions. I hope they will find at least something that tells us what happened to flight MH370. 

It will be hard, but everything is better than not knowing, for me anyways. After all, when you know what happened, you can find closure, and in time you can give it a place in your heart, and you’ll be able to move on with your life.

I pray for their souls to safely reach where ever destiny is taking them! 

Animal abuse...

Me

I’m sick at home right now, so I have the time to finally write. Last week I had to cancel my writing assignments, simply because I don’t have the time right now to write articles. Against all odds my company as a lot of assignments, something I didn’t expect. Normally it’s very quiet during the winter months, because for me, the season starts about in February and not in October LOL. I worked so many hours in the last few weeks, my resistance was rapidly dwindling. 

Now I’m stuck with the flu! Hubby is on his own for a few days, normally we work very closely together, six days each week. Ok, enough about me and let’s talk about animal abuse… and what you can do.

I see it happen on a daily basis, so called animal lovers, turning away when it comes to animal abuse. Even though they all say that they love animals, most people don’t act like it. Watch the people around you and see that I’m right!

Fur trims on hats, boots and shoes!

Most people continue to eat meat; a real animal lover will never eat meat. Also, they keep buying shoes and clothes that have real fur. You see, the tiniest fur trim on e.g. boots and hats are real fur. 

Many (Rangoon) dogs and also many cats are used for these kinds of fur trims on boots and hats. It’s almost a common knowledge that these so called fake fur trims are for real. Innocent animals are slaughtered for just this purpose (to create fur trims on boots and hats). Mostly dogs are captured and held in small crates, without food and water. When they are moved to where hell and eventually a horrible death awaits them they are shoved into very small crates. 

These crates are too small for even one dog, but they push and push until the whole crate is filled with the poor animals.

The link below is just one of many, see for yourself and decide if you want to wear anything with (fake?) fur ever again!! There probably is not fake fur, it’s all very real. Animals are slaughtered because of it. So don’t be a hypocrite and don’t buy anything that has (fake?) fur on it.

Wool industry

This is yet another industry that abuses their animals. Sheep are dragged in by their hind leg, yes by one leg, not both. They are used as punching bags; abusers kick them in the ribs, mostly breaking them in the process. The sheep are being held down by putting their foot on them, and then the abusers try to break the neck of the sheep. 

The animals are so scared and are in so much pain, some even poke out the eyes of a sheep. Just for shits and giggles, because they can. IMHO these monsters are cowards, because a real man would never, ever abuse those who are weaker, not an animal and not a human being. I share a lot of footage about animals being slaughtered, mostly skinned when they are still alive. Yes people you can hear them scream for mercy in many footages that shows them being killed in the most horrifying way.  Yet people keep buying shoes, boots and hats with that have fur trim on it. IMHO all these so called animal lovers are simply hypocrites.

I don’t eat and I don’t wear animals. I only use animal-cruelty-free hair-and body products. If all of us would be more careful about what we eat, wear and use (makeup, hair- and body products) this world would be a better place!

You don’t need to go and join a protest, it would be great, but you don’t need to do that in order to help animals. Just watch what you eat, wear and use, and you have already helped a lot! 

If we all would stop buying these horrific things and stop eating meat, the world would be a better place. We don’t need fur trims on our shoes, boots or hats, we really don’t! Don’t call yourself ignorant and say, oh my, that’s so awful, I didn’t know. Because if you would have paid attention to what you buy, you would have known that you helped making life a living hell for these innocent animals!!

Pistorius in Jail...

The family of the late Reeva Steenkamp didn't react when the judge read the verdict. Also Oscar Pistorius didn't react to the verdict that was read out loud by the judge. I understand the family, they lost Reeva and they will never get her back. Oscar Pistorius ignored Reeva’s family while being guided out of the courtroom by guards.

Pistorius was sentenced to five years in jail, but he won’t actually be serving five years in prison. With a little bit of luck he’s out within eighteen months or so, maybe even less! So yes, the crying and vomiting did help.

Fact is that Reeva Steenkamp is dead and Oscar lives. For his lawyers to say that Pistorius lost everything is BS and we all know it! Oscar didn’t lose his family, he didn't lose his life. As far as losing the so-called love of his life, also BS. Pistorius has a new cute blonde girlfriend for some time now, he’s happy again. Oscar only loses maybe one-and-a-half year because he’s in prison. Reeva Steenkamp did lose the most valuable of all, her life! She loved Oscar Pistorius and for that she paid the highest price imaginable, she paid with her life.

Still there are stupid women who stand in line for this trigger happy unstable man, I really don’t get it. Do all those women really think, oh but he won’t do that with me in the house? We are talking about a man who’s insecure and unstable, so what are the chances that he will take a gun and fire again at something or someone?

I hope that Reeva’s family will get closure now that Pistorius is sentence to prison. All though chances are that he will only serve a few months, experts say. This is so wrong, five years is five years, right?

That’s the big question right this moment. Will Oscar Pistorius be convicted, or he will get his freedom? Will tears be the salvation of Oscar Pistorius?

I’m in bed while typing this story, watching the news at a German channel and of course CNN. I’m stuck with the flu despite the flu-shot I got three weeks ago. Now you see getting a flu-shot doesn't guarantee a flu-free winter.

Now, enough about me and back too Oscar!

For months now, Oscar Pistorius cried in the courtroom, even vomited, and swore that the shooting of his stunning girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp was a tragic mistake. He escaped a murder conviction with it, but will he remain at large? I sure hope not!

Today finally we will know if Oscar will be convicted, and if so, what his punishment will be! The state wants Pistorius in prison for at least ten years. I for one am all for it, the man is unstable and needs to know that what he did is very wrong. I mean shooting through a closed door while having one person in house that’s not accounted for is just stupid.

What I don’t get is that he didn't locate his girlfriend before he went on a killing spree. According to his statement he didn’t check if she was in bed with him. Any normal person would check that the people in his home are accounted for before he goes and shoots through a closed door.

Oscar Pistorius is in court right this moment and awaits sentencing for shooting and killing Reeva Steenkamp. My heart goes out to Reeva’s family. Reeva’s family had to relive the brute killing of their daughter, over and over again these last months. The judge is reading a very long statement. She just said that if Pistorius though that he was shooting a burglar, that said burglar didn’t have any room to save himself from the bullets. It’s a small bathroom where there’s no hiding from any bullets, so Oscar Pistorius knew that when fired the shots that he probable was killing anyone who was behind the closed door.

I see a blond woman (dressed in red) pump her fist in victory in the courtroom. The judge is still reading and I hope he gets at least the ten years the state demanded. A few times a heard her talking about five and eight years and community service.

Now she’s asking Oscar to rise!

Verdict ……..five years in prison for culpable homicide. According to the judge a long sentence would be inappropriate!

Animal abuse and the circus...

This story is about, not to forget, not to relax, and not to let Tyke’s death be in vain.

This story is for all abused elephants in the word, because it’s not just the circus that treads their animals like shit. Many mahouts do to and they should love and cherish their elephants!

So, before you ever visit a circus again and applaud, read this, and know…what it is… you applaud for!!!!!

What should I call it, terrible seems so cliché. Horror doesn’t even cut it. No, what I am about to write is the stuff of nightmares, for circus animals anyway. Today I wanted to start a blog about the Ebola-virus, because it’s a terrible disease and it needs more addressing. However, after seeing yet another article about the abuse of circus animals, 

I changed my mind. I will write my blog about the Ebola-virus, but after I’m finished with this one.

First, let me tell you that I don’t believe that there is a circus in the world that really loves its animals. From what my research told me so far, all circuses are treating their animals poorly. What am I saying; they abuse their animals in the worst kind of way! See the footage for yourself and then you decide how great the circus really is!

This is only one very disturbing and sad example of the circus treads their animals and elephants in particular.

The next time you see, or read about another circus elephant that snaps, loses it, you have to ask yourself, why? 

Elephants are highly social animals, they care for their families deeply. Elephant herds live by hierarchy and they mourn the loss of one of their own, just like we humans do.

Did you know:

That the skin of an elephant is very sensitive?

That you can easily hurt an elephant through their sensitive skin?

That they understand more than we give them credit for?

That elephants cry, like we do? Are scared and having nightmares, like do?

That they miss and mourn for their baby after the calf is taken away from them after his or her birth?

That many times during giving birth, the becoming mother is abused?

That circuses use electroshock's (they stick in the behind of the elephant) to make her submit?

I thought long and hard about, the why! Why do people feel good after beating an elephant bruised and bloody? Why make this huge gently giant that has no rights, to lie down and let herself get beaten over and over? After thinking long and hard, I came to the conclusion that I believe that torturing and abusing these amazing animals make them feel like real men.

One thing, and I know that many of you agree with me that, beating an animal into submission doesn’t make you a real man. It makes you a coward and a monster. Because brave men don’t need to abuse an animal to feel like a man, they are real men.

Being a real man means:

That you help the ones who weaker than you!

That you don’t torture innocent defenseless animals!

That you help the elderly!

I can go on and on, but you know what I mean. I hope and pray that many of you who read this are going to help in protesting against animal abuse in general. That you will sign every petition available against animal-cruelty. That you will spread the word to, as many other people as possible, to take action against animal-cruelty. Call it in when you see someone abuse an animal.

Most important, that you don’t participate in animal abuse. 

That means** stay as far away from the circus as you can** Let people in your neighborhood know how the circus really is treating their animals.

To abuse any animals should be considered a crime against humanity. Unfortunately, animals still don’t count as much as they should be! I find that very odd and I don’t understand why there still are so few laws to protect animals from monsters that call themselves human.

I’m still working on my free-read about elephants; I change the story time and again. I’m not certain how to exactly write it.

Is the Ukraine lost?

Ukraine President Porosjenko has decided that the eastern part of the Ukraine will be ruled (for now) by the Russian-separatists. I don’t get it, no I really don’t! I mean first they involve the world in their fight against the separatists. Now that they get help, they do what? The fools surrender part of their country to, IMHO Russian terrorists. The Ukraine fought hard and long to defeat the separatists, but it all went to hell when Putin intervened. First it was Crimea that Putin wanted back. He got what he wanted, now however he wants the rest of the Ukraine. Putin wants the Ukraine, period! We all know, what Putin wants, Putin gets. Putin wants not only the Ukraine, no he wants so much more. I already wrote about this in my previous blog. If Putin gets his hands on Crimea, he will go after the rest of the Ukraine. It will be bit by bit, piece by piece.

MH 17

Downing the civilian airliner flight MH 17 was the biggest mistake the separatists/ Russia made. By acting like the amateurs they are, they killed almost 300 innocent civilians. Of course Putin keeps denying that Russia was involved in downing the aircraft, but the whole wide world knows different.

Sanctions

Through several rounds of sanctions against Russia, because of the role the country plays in the crisis in Ukraine, Russian banks and energy companies barely more access to foreign exchange.

In addition, access is blocked to the European capital market for three Russian energy companies (Rosneft, Gazprom Neft and Transneft). Earlier, the EU made ​​this all possible for a number of Russian banks. Because of this restriction, it is more difficult to borrow money. Moreover, the EU extends sanctions on the oil sector. Thus, the export of certain technologies from the EU to Russia are now restricted. 

A number of companies have asked Moscow for help, including oil giant Rosneft that says that it needs1.5 trillion rubles ($ 30.7 billion).

And get this! 

Russia wants billions of rubles set aside to protect companies against the effects of European and American sanctions against the country. The money will be transferred from the pension pot of the Russian Federation in a special fund should be available next year. Putin empties the pension pot, I mean really? 

Russia got warning after warning about their interference in the war between the Russian separatists and the Ukraine. Putin just doesn’t care. Even now the Russian ruble has hit a new all-time low; he still interferes as in helping the Russian separatists by supplying them with weapons and other weaponry, like tanks and missiles, to shoot airplanes out of the sky. Yes, that’s right, like they did MH 17, a commercial airliner with nearly 300 innocent civilians on board. If that’s not murder, then in don’t know what is! This wasn’t an accident; you don’t shoot an unidentified flying object out of the sky, you just don’t. Well at least people who have a conscience don’t.

Anyway, more sanctions for Russia, and these new sanctions are going to hit Russia in the financial heart and it will heart like a bitch. Still, Putin acts like he  doesn't have a care in the world. These new sanctions will hit Russia hard; also the rest of the world will suffer the consequences. There will be no winner in the conflict between the Ukraine, Russia and the rest of the world! In the end, they all will lose!

It won't happen overnight, but If all goes as plan, the Ukraine will be lost to Russia. It makes me asked myself, which country is next?

The death of baby Max!

There aren’t only animals and people on our beautiful planet, no there are also the monsters. They look human and for the most part behave like a human, but behind the façade lies a great ugliness. 

I couldn't keep my tears from falling, while writing this heartbreaking story of, Max! 

Gary Roberts, an American pilot who works in Chad, as a rescuer, found to his dismay that a group of a hundred elephants were slaughtered ruthless by poachers on the border between Chad and Cameroon. He did everything to save the only survivor, a nine-month old baby elephant that he named Max.

Telephone call!

In March 2013, Gary Roberts received a disturbing call. There were rumors of a massacre of a herd of elephants, and they asked him if he could fly to check out the situation. When Gary flew over the border between Chad and Cameroon with his Cessna, he stomach turned by what he saw.

Hundred skulls!

"It was awful seeing merely remnants and bones." Gary told the BBC about the horrors he encountered last year. Everywhere there were large pools of blood and carcasses scattered over several kilometers. He counted at least a hundred skulls. His stomach turned over. The poachers had almost certainly used machine guns to kill the herd of elephants. Seeing the genocide (because that’s what it was IMHO) he gave all the information to the authorities and flew back home.

Second phone call!

Two days later he was called again they told him that an elephant baby had survived the massacre the horror. The Roberts family had in the past often cared for animals-orphans. So he returned to the area looking for the baby.

Now the heartbreaking starts!

He found the animal of an estimated nine months to a tree tied with a rope. The calf was anxious, angry and grieving over the loss of his family. The animal had been given cow's milk from some villagers. With good intentions, but cow's milk is toxic to elephants. The rope had caused wounds to his neck that started to infect. During his short stay in the village children additionally pelted him with stones.

Panic!

The Roberts couple decided then and there to rescue the elephant baby. Even if that meant it had to be shipped in tiny plane. With a truck, the fatherless, the meanwhile baptized Max, was brought to the plane where the Roberts couple was waiting. The baby elephant barely fitted the small Cessna, which can carry up to four people, a risky operation, done by true heroes.

When Max, (160 pounds) would panic, the small plane would become uncontrollable. Yet the weakened animal just scanned off the cockpit playfully with his trunk.

 Exhaustion!

Once home the baby elephant fully collapsed. He was day and night cared for by Gary and Wendy. But despite all their efforts and dedication Max didn’t make it. After ten days Max died.

"The trauma of the massacre was too much for little Max," Roberts said with a deep sigh. Perhaps his death was also caused by cow's milk, the only merciful act he had received of the villagers, during his short life!

Gary Roberts conducted the rescue mission early last year, but the extraordinary images of the flight are only now surfacing. The BBC conducted a conversation with Gary. 

Pistorius, guilty of culpable homicide!

One of my favorite things to write about, yessss, Oscar Pistorius!

Culpable homicide is the South African term for “unintentionally, but illegally killing a person”. Pistorius didn’t have a firearms-license, but even so, he owned a gun!

The reading of the verdict began Thursday. Masipa stated that the prosecutors failed to prove that Pistorius planned on killing his girlfriend after an argument. I have to agree and that one. Because I think he killed in blind rage. Dear Oscar is known for having a bad temper. Anyways, Masipa said that the plaintiffs gave only circumstantial evidence. South African media reported that prosecutors are amazed at the ease with which Masipa rejected the, indictment murder. The prosecution therefore is likely to appeal against the verdict, and I really hope they do!

On Friday the famous, disabled South African athlete Oscar Pistorius, or ‘blade runner’, has been found guilty of culpable homicide. Judge Thokozile Matilda Masipa found evidence that the 27-year old Pistorius on February 14^th 2013 (yes people Valentine day of all days) his 29-year old girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp shot and killed!

Oscar Pistorius shot and killed Steenkamp February 14, 2013 by shooting multiple times through a closed door. Although Pistorius did not have the intention to kill Reeva Steenkamp, he acted consciously and much too rushed with excessive force.

The sentence will be determined sometime later. Pistorius faces a long prison sentence, possibly up to 15 years. On Friday Oscar Pistorius was also convicted of a shooting incident in a crowded restaurant. Two other charges related to Pistorius' firearms and ammunition, Masipa considered unproven.

South African media reported that prosecutors are amazed at the ease with which Masipa rejected the, indictment murder. The prosecution therefore is likely to appeal against the verdict, and I really hope they do!

Let’s be honest here, if you feel threatened. If you think you have to shoot, in order to protect yourself, and the people who are in your house at that moment. You locate everyone before you fire multiple times through a closed door. What did dear Oscar do? He grabbed his gun and acted like the lunatic he his.

For the record, don’t point a gun if you don’t intent on shooting someone. Only point a gun if you really have the intension of shooting a person.

Horror House Sold!

Many people would not want to buy a house where a notorious murder was committed, but the new owner is very delighted with his new home. The South African is the new owner of the house where athlete Oscar Pistorius shot and killed his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp. The joy is undoubtedly due to the sharp purchase. The new owner paid about half the market value for the villa in Pretoria.

The buyer tapped home on the head for 4.5 million rand, about 325,000 euros. In 2011 Pistorius tried it sell for almost double.

The 57-year-old consultant had his eye on the house when he saw images of it during the trial “It looked nice ", he said to news agency AFP. Not everyone in his family was thrilled. “My wife had to get used to the idea," he admits. The couple wants to move into the horror house in a few years, if they 57-year-old consultant is retired.

He does not expect to feel the murder house unsafe, on the contrary. The house is located in a highly secure-gated community. Some residents do their doors here not even locked.

Oscar Pistorius, from a rising star to a killer.

Athlete Oscar Pistorius, who has been convicted of the death of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, became an athlete star in the summer of 2011. Pistorius hit by a congenital defect as 11 months old baby lost his lower legs. Even before the shooting accident that took place 2013, he had a history of violence and aggressive behavior. In September 2009 he was arrested for assault. In the same year he was hospitalized by a boating accident. Pistorius was on the Vaal River and in his reckless behavior he rammed a pier. Pistorius had, according to an ex-girlfriend always a gun, even though he didn’t had a license for it.

I guess we all know about the shooting incident in the restaurant back in March 2014? People with a behavior like this are unstable and can become a danger to themselves, and to others. Didn’t they know how unstable dear Oscar was, or did they and just ignored it?

No matter how you look at it, an innocent woman got shot and killed. She will never see the sun rising, never have a family of her own. Never will her family see her beautiful smile ever again. Why? Because Oscar Pistorius thought he could solve everything with a gun in his hand.

Hunting Animals :(

I was shocked by an article I read this week in the newspaper. First of all let me tell you that I’m dead set against shooting animals. There always is a solution were you don’t need to put an animal down. What I really hate, are the people who shoot animals just shits and giggles. It’s cruel and IMHO only cowards can pull that off.

Now, I know that History Channel and NGC airing lots of programs in which show animal abuse and even animal killing. I don’t watch the shows, but sometime when I’m not fast enough I see previews and that alone is the stuff of nightmares. How anyone can abuse or kill an innocent animal and sleep at night? Well that’s beyond me!

However I was amazed that a Dutch channel is airing a program that shows elephants getting killed by hunters, just for shits and giggles. We started a campaign to prevent the show from airing, but until now, to no avail. Monsters like that make me sick.

And what is it that everyone was to abuse or kill elephants. These magnificent gentle giants should be able to live their life in peace. The same goes for the tigers and lions and all the other innocent animals who never did anything wrong. It should be prohibited to hunt animals, period!

I feel bad when I have to discipline my little doggie. And be discipline I mean that I speak to him in a firm tone. Luckily for me, I don’t need to discipline him often, he behaves very well. Hell I have rabbits in the garden; they live in rabbit-holes under the porch. Next year we want to renew the porch that means that the rabbits have to go. So I have months to figure out how to renew the porch without burying the rabbits alive. I have to figure out how I can be sure that the rabbit-holes are really, totally and completely empty, no rabbits left! It’s so cute to see them play in garden early mornings and early evenings. Sometimes the rabbits play during the day, but only if Max is in da house LOL. He loves hunting the little rabbits, and he’s fast.

Max once caught a rabbit, I was screaming at him to let go of the rabbit, and guess what, he actually did. I have to say that Max isn’t used to me, yelling at him, he was so shocked that I was yelling at him that he dropped the rabbit and just stared at me LOL

I love animals, all animals; I can’t even kill a spider even though they scare the hell out of me! When there’s a huge spider, I let my hubby catch him and he brings the spider outside, were it belongs. The world is full of monsters that abuse, torture and kill innocent animals. It warms my heart when I see how many people are helping animals in need, love and respect their pets and all other animals. People, who sign petitions to speak up for animals that need it badly, think of animal testing. People, who work in animals-shelters, I worked in an animal shelter for many years, and it was rewarding.

Small announcement!

Today I will start on writing my first free read.  It will be Tyke’s story. So, now I have to do is some serious research so the story will be part fiction and also based on facts. Seeing the footage of tyke being shot made me skip lunch. This is something i feel i just have to do! It will be a free-read, so i won't gain anything from it!

Tyke, never forgotten! Why I hate the circus!

After a crazy busy time I finally have the time to concentrate on writing stories. As of today I will blog on a regular basis again. I have so much to share; there is so much in my head that needs to get out LOL.

Today I’ll share a very sad story with all who read my blog! I share this with you, because I think the world should know what Tyke went through and why she did what she did! When an animals as big as Tyke screams for mercy and even goes down to avoid being hit, then we humans have to ask ourselves what in the hell is wrong and why do we let this happen?

You can help in a very simple way:

1. Don’t ever go to a circus if they have wild animals like tigers and elephants, because they are forced to perform.

2. sign as much petitions as you possibly can (see PETA)

Tyke (1974 – 1994) was an African elephant who couldn’t take her abuse any longer. After a life of only knowing abuse she went on a rampage to escape her torturers, her abusers. She killed her trainer in the attempt to escape. It showed after his autopsy that Tyke’s trainer, a scumbag named Allen Campbell had alcohol and cocaine in his system at the time of his death. Imagine, Tyke, left in the hands of a monster like that, also he already had a bad reputation of abusing animals.

Alcohol and drugs make these monsters even more aggressive than they already are. Did anyone talk about that? About a monster that took abuse to a whole new level and in the process drove this sweet, gentle giant, insane! No when an animal (mostly elephants) are going on a rampage it’s always like- OMG the animal has gone crazy – the animal is dangerous and so on. NO it’s not the animal that’s dangerous; it’s the monster that abuses the animal in ways most of you don’t even want to think of, because it’s just too horrible.

It took a long time and 86 bullets to finally kill Tyke, and for what? Yes, that’s right, because she had enough of the abuse, had enough of the times that she screamed for mercy, had enough of the times that she was so scared that she even went down in hopes the beatings would stop.

People, this is why I am dead set against the circus. Wild animals don’t voluntarily do tricks.  Wild animals only perform under the most horrific circumstances. Wild animals only perform when they are beaten into submission. Most animal trainers are a frustrated bunch, and they take it out on innocent animals that can’t fight back. Yes, it’s an act of cowardice and only monsters are capable of doing so!

An animal can only take so much before it goes insane, either from fear or because some monster simply drove her insane. Why? You ask? Well because they can. Mostly they simply are cowards, who are scared of real men. So they take it out on an innocent animal!

Stories, like this make me sick, they make my stomach turn and not in a good way!

Look at this footage, yes all the way, to the end. In the end you see Tyke dying and her eyes tell you that she doesn’t understand why people hate her so much that they drove her to insanity by abusing her every single day!

So please, please stay away from any circus that has wild animals perform, because only severe abuse can make them perform. They really don’t perform voluntarily, they really don’t!

There isn’t one single circus that treats their animal’s right. How do I know this? The answer is very simple. Animals don’t belong in a circus doing handstands just for our entertainment. Animals belong in the wild were they can be themselves. Where there is no abuse from monsters like Allen Campbell.

If you push me, I’ll push back, if an animal pushes back, it gets killed! The next time you see or read about an animal that goes rampant, think of Tyke, and know why shit like this happens. It’s not the animals that are monsters; it’s us humans that are the monsters!

MH 17

Right now Putin is sending more tanks and other weaponry to the Ukraine border. Kiev is fighting to gain control over the site were MH17 crashed, so the investigators can access the site safely. It’s a political game, a challenge, placing the victims right in the middle. I saw a picture of cows grazing on the crash site, how can that be? There still are human remains that all over the site, I’m so angry. Only people who don’t care about the victims and the survivors can let something like this happen.

Putin wanted and still wants the Ukraine, nothing has changed. Also and that’s what makes it all so dangerous, Putin can’t back down anymore, if so, he would lose his face in front of the Russian people, imagine that! This is a delicate situation and most important is to get the rest of the victims away from the crash site ASAP. It’s heartbreaking for the survivors to see pictures of cows grazing on the crash site, where we know are still lying human remains. Talk about crimes against humanity!

Today a father, who lost his daughter, son-in-law and his two grandchildren, died because he couldn’t cope with the loss.

People scream for more action, “send the army, special forces” they cry. It is reassuring that the Dutch government does do stupid things like sending armed forces to the crash site. This would almost certainly mean war. Let’s face it, people, no one wants a war. Yes, Putin wants a war because he’s stupid and an insecure male/ monster at that!

I really hope that they soon can bring the last of the victim’s home, because this is more than heartbreaking.
