Capital of the world.

On Sunday, January 11 2015, the world made a statement and, Paris became the capital of the world! Je Suis Charlie is all about our freedom, human rights and making a statement against terrorism!

All over the world, people marched through the streets, making their statement against violence and terrorism. Charlie Hebdo is sold more than five thousand times already. Charlie Hebdo is all about satire and not about a specific religion. 

If only the extremists would understand. But then again, they only understand their own language. They even kill fellow Muslims when they think that they aren’t behaving accordingly. Terrorists use religion to hide behind, and only cowards hide. Terrorists hide behind masks they almost never show their faces voluntarily.

Again, only cowards behave like that. Shooting an officer who is already down, that’s an act of cowardice. They went into the building where Charlie Hebdo is settled, using Kalashnikovs to shoot unarmed civilians. For that, you don’t need to be brave, really you don’t!

Amedy Coulibaly said that he operated separately from the brothers Kouachi, "so it would have more impact." "I've focused on the police." He calls the attack on the Jewish supermarket 'fully justified'. His motto, "If you attack the caliphate and the Islamic State, you get yourself attacked."

In a video, which was picked up by the SITE Intelligence Group, shows Amedy Coulibaly swearing allegiance to the Islamic State and Caliph Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Amedy Coulibaly is seen making several speeches and can be seen while he is training.

Al-Qaida has claimed the attack on Charlie Hebdo and the Jewish supermarket.

Terrorists live of the fear of others, the more afraid people are, the more they like it. What they certainly didn’t expect was that Charlie Hebdo sold 5 million editions of the satirical magazine, all over the world, in 16 different languages. People everywhere marched against violence, carrying banners and flags; it was so awesome to see. I hope things will settle down soon, but I’m afraid that it will take some time for things to get back to normal. 

Terrorists keep threatening our families, our homes and our safety. They are cowards who attack from behind, they always do. They show us footage of them fighting and god knows what not, but the fact is, they don’t fight, they attack with Kalashnikovs. Only if you are a coward you attack defenseless civilians who don’t wear guns, who are unarmed.

What amazes me is that so many young people travel to Syria to join the terrorists. What is going through their minds that they want to join these killers? What about all the young women who travel to Syria? What is a woman to a Muslim extremist? Not much, they are good for only two things, sex and cannon fodder. Women don’t have any rights. Once they arrive in Syria they are at the mercy of the terrorists, sounds pretty awful to me!

About me!

Right now, I don’t have much for writing anymore. Today I wrote 5 pages of my book, because even on a Sunday, I am busy. I quit my job because my boss has changed into a really, really mean bitch. I have my job back, but now I work directly for the company and not via an agency. The company hubby and I started last year is very successful, I now have two jobs and work like 5.5 days a week (house cleaning not included).

I know that writing only one day per week isn’t much, but right now it’s all I have. I love to write and I will continue to do so.

One day, I will get published! I will take the time to finish my book, because my dream is to become a published writer, and I won’t stop until that dream comes true!

Amedy Coulibaly…

Amedy Coulibaly, or Doly led a double life, yes, he really did!

He shook hands with President Sarkozy. He was an exemplary employee of the local Coca-Cola plant. But, from his seventeenth birthday on, Amedy Coulibaly came under the influence of the radical Islamic preachers. After that,"Doly" started his own jihad. On Friday, January 9 2015, he was killed during a shooting that puts an end to a hostage situation in a Jewish supermarket. This is the spectacular end of a boy who lived a double life for fifteen years.

According to friends and family, he had a fairly happy childhood. But "Doly" quickly becomes known to the police. He is the only son in a family of ten children, and he started to commit several robberies in 2004. Back then “Doly” already was armed and dangerous!

Amedy Coulibaly becomes a radical. He often comes along with Chérif Kouachi; together they visit Djamel Beghal, a jihad preacher. Djamel Beghal is under increased police surveillance because he had planned an attack on the US embassy in Paris.

2009

“Doly” is one of the 500 young people who will meet up with, then President Nicolas Sarkozy. Since 2006 Amedy Coulibaly is in work-study program at the local Coca-Cola plant. When he was interviewed he told the newspaper that, maybe the president could help him with a steady job.

Highwaymen

But the visits to Beghal continue. Coulibaly is a model pupil: During a police interview in 2010, he called Al Qaeda in North Africa 'highwaymen in Islam, "to dispel the suspicions surrounding his person.

Within his family, he draws a much harder line. He urged his sisters too; educate their children, according to Islam. "I've beaten my fist on the table," he once told his jihad teacher. The conversations were recorded by the police and published by the weekly magazine Le Point.

He threatened his sister, telling them that, if they didn’t teach their children to pray well, they would not have to call him for anything. Told them that they didn’t get any money! That for him, “Amedy Coulibaly” religion was the most important thing in his life! He didn’t give a damn about the rest.

2010

This was the year in which he rages against his sisters, and is arrested for illegal possession of weapons. Amedy Coulibaly was sentenced to five years in prison.

Ankle bracelet

After his imprisonment "Doly" gets an ankle bracelet to monitor his every movement. The police tried have tried to dissuade him from the radical path, but they were unsuccessful. He remained part of the Parisian terror cell, with the brothers Kouachi.

Then on January 8 2015 he commits his ultimate crime. He shoots two police officers, one dies later. He kidnaps a complete supermarket, and shoots and kills four people the second he stepped inside. Innocent people who hadn’t done anything wrong were slaughtered.

His old friends talked to him last weekend, in the drab suburb of Grigny, where she grew up. "He slowly slipped from small to big crime, and later to radical Islam. We talked, and said that we had to see each other more often.

Friends and people who knew him were stunned by the news that this man was a radical Islamist or, terrorist if you will!

My thoughts.

Amedy Coulibaly wore his mask until the bitter and bloody end! He fooled many people, but did he fool his family too? Did his family know that he had become a terrorist? Terrorism isn’t about religion, it’s all about power! It’s their way or the highway! If you don’t think alike, then they will kill you.

I don’t believe that the thread is over; all over Europe, the 'sleeping cells' are awake and ready for battle! 

Do I feel threatened by Muslims? No, I don’t!

Do I feel threatened by terrorists? Yes, definitely!

Religion isn’t about war and killing people, religion is about living peacefully, side-by-side!

Air Asia flight QZ8501 black boxes signaled?

I wanted to blog about Air Asia sooner, but the dramatic terror attack that happened in France seemed more important at that moment!

Rescuers are now trying to dive in the Java Sea in hopes to reach the wreckage of the crashed unit of Air Asia, after capturing signals on Friday, which are probably of both of the black boxes. That was announced by a researcher from the Indonesian road safety commission.

Presumably the black boxes came loose from the tail of the aircraft. The signals, (ultrasounds), where located about 300 meters from the rear end of the crashed plane. Divers should now examine the precise location. Due to bad weather divers weren’t able to reach the area to the tail section, which is thirty meters on its head. There was a strong current and limited visibility.

Finding the black boxes is important to find out happened to the aircraft? Bad weather probably led to the disaster. Possibly the pilot came into a tropical storm. But they still don’t know what exactly happened; the black boxes will tell us what really happened and why the plane crashed into the sea!

More and more bodies are removed from the Java Sea. A total of 46 bodies of bodies were certainly salvaged!

I hope they soon find the black boxes, because loved ones need to know, need to know what happened, so they can find closure!

Does anyone know why they call it the black box? Because the boxes are orange, not black!

France, still in shock!

I’m sad, shocked and angry! I’m going through several emotions right now, actually! I strongly believe in justice and bravery, I don’t believe in terror and cowardice! Because that’s what terror is. Terrorist are cowards that much became clear when; both brothers let themselves get killed, yesterday.

 Chérif Saïd and Kouachi had said that they wanted to die as martyrs; I call them cowards because they didn't have the guts to face the world after what they had done, namely slaughtering innocent people. I was raised that everything you do has consequences. These murderers killed, no slaughtered, unarmed, innocent people, in cold blood, just because they could! Like I said, cowards!
On Saturday a French channel released parts of an interview between the terrorist Amedy Coulibaly and his Jewish hostages in a supermarket. This was possible because the stupid bastard didn’t correctly put down the phone. Because of that the police was able to listen in to all that was said in the Jewish supermarket!

Amedy Coulibaly said that the French, by paying taxes, they were funding "the war in Mali". A hostage replied. "We have to pay taxes". Amedy Coulibaly responded by telling the hostage that he didn’t pay taxes. Then Amedy Coulibaly continued. "Let the Muslims alone, we leave you alone.” "Every time they try to make you believe that Muslims are terrorists. I was born in France. If they were not attacked elsewhere, I was not here.” With the release of the conversation the channel showed, that there was no room for negotiation with the hostage taker.

When Amedy Coulibaly stormed into the supermarket, four people were killed on the spot. It was his statement that he meant business. Again, I say only a coward shoot and kill, unarmed innocent civilians. More horrifying images are being released; images that show police storm the supermarket!

Three terrorists killed, and one is still on the run, a 26-year-old woman named Hayat Boumeddiene!

My thoughts…

The hostage situation is over, for now! I believe that this is just the beginning of more terror attacks against the west. This or any other terror attack has nothing to do with religion. People who kill and torture in the name of a god, any god, is hiding behind that same god! Islam extremists want to scare us with these horrific attacks. But I am Charlie…

The threat isn’t over; Paris is still under heavy guard by the military, Special Forces and police officers. The hunt for the female terrorist is still going on in full force, I hope they catch her, alive! Officials believe that Hayat Boumeddiene was there when the female police officer was killed in cold blood on Thursday!  

Many European countries are on high alert because they believe that there will be more terrorist attacks. I hope not, but it’s very likely that this isn't the end of the reign of terror!

Life goes on, and we better get used to being attacked by terrorists/ cowards, because sadly, it’s part of life now!

My thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends and the loved ones of the people who were brutally slaughtered at Charlie Hebdo and the Jewish supermarket! Not to forget the police officers who were executed in the middle of the street! I saw the footage of the execution of the male officer (not censored) and it was awful!

Also, what I don’t get is that people can travel to Syria to be trained to carry out attacks, still can come back. I think that is someone leaves to become a terrorist, they should not be allowed back in!

Je Suis Charlie...I Am Charlie…

The world is mourning, and many (me too) are still in shock. I heard about the terrible shooting at innocent people when I was at work yesterday.

Twelve people, innocent people are dead, and many more are wounded! Some of the so severe that the death toll will rise, I’m afraid!

On Wednesday, January 7th, the two brothers committed a bloody attack on the editor of the satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo, in Paris, Killing twelve people.

Like all acts of terrorism, this one too was barbaric, and an act of cowardice!
It was awful, I actually saw the footage of a policeman being shot in the head, while already down. It was surreal, it was just surreal! There he was lying on the ground; the terrorists stopped the car, got out, walked up the policeman and shot him through the head. They didn’t even hesitate or anything, they just pulled the trigger.

A manhunt was started yesterday and they have one person in custody, an eighteen year old kid. The police think he might have helped the terrorist plan this horrible act of cowardice. Also, they suspect that one of the three terrorists has been dead already. This hasn’t been confirmed yet! They do know the identity of the terrorists, because stupid as they are, they left their identification in the getaway car!

So, at least two others, (brothers) are still on the run. The one they have in custody is only eighteen years; he’s practically a kid, for god’s sake!

Just in: There are more arrest says police in Paris! So, let the interrogation begin!

It seems that he two terrorists engaged in a suicide mission. The brothers have Kalashnikov's and rocket launchers with him.

Chérif Saïd and Kouachi Kouachi were spotted in a car in the village of Villers-Cotteret in Paris, where they committed a robbery at a gas station. The manager of the gas station recognized the two.
The brothers were also spotted in the French village Vaucienne. They ride in a gray Renault Clio in the direction of Paris. In the village of Villers-Cotteret they raided a gas station. Right now they are chased by a large police force.

Just in: A police officer (female) was killed this morning in what appeared another shootout with the terrorists, at the Village Villers-Cotteret. I don’t think it will be long now before they catch those two murderers.

Religion!

Many people now say that the Muslim society is bad, I say different! It’s not the religion that’s bad; it’s the people who practice religion in the wrong way, because they are the rotten apples in the basket! Every religion is peaceful, until people are starting to use it for their own benefit, that’s when things go wrong. I refuse to think of all Muslim’s to be bad people, I know they aren’t!

Terrorist use religion to justify murder and to make people submit, all in the name of god, or Allah! It doesn’t matter because God and Allah are the same, and they represent peace, not war!

Cartoonists all over the world show what a really powerful weapon is, because In tribute to the murdered colleague’s cartoonists all over the world are seen with pens and pencils stuck in the air.

The terrorist was a loser!

Get this, Chérif Kouachi, the main suspect in the gruesome attack in Paris, has been known in the anti-terrorist unit of the police and is known as a jihadist. His lawyer, who defended him earlier, remembers him as a loser.

Several mosques in France were the target of an attack today, one day after the attack and killing of twelve people, innocent people!

In a kebab shop near a mosque in Villefranche was an explosion; the windows of the restaurant were destroyed. At a mosque in Le Mans, were four grenades fired.
Both attacks were no injuries, but the perpetrators are still on the run. The authorities deny that the attacks are related to the shooting in Paris.

The mayor of Villefranche spoke earlier that the suspects that the attack has anything to do with the attack on Charlie Hebdo in Paris.

Vegan….

In September of last year, I decided to become a vegetarian. I also decided to watch what I wear, like no leather. The only leather I had were shoes! Not anymore, no shoes, no belts, no nothing. Before Christmas I went shopping for some new clothes and for the first time ever, I read the labels. I had to turn my back on this stunning sweater, because the label said it had 5% wool in it.

After seeing the dramatic footage of those poor sheep being mutilated (eyes were poked out, the skin was sheared off with the wool, their necks were broken and so on), I can’t wear anything that contains even 0.5% wool in it.

Here comes the best part of all. Hubby loves meat, wants it every day with his dinner. Since I cook dinner almost every night, he gets at least 3 vegetarian meals per week LOL. Yeah, he knows and he loves it. What does that say about my cooking hahaha. I use lots of fresh vegetables and herbs, and just the right amount of spices. 

Hubby says that he doesn't mind eating vegetarian food, as long as it tastes good. Isn't that great! This way he helps animals and at the same time he eats a lot healthier. Meat isn't healthy anymore, because of all the crap they feed the animals so they don’t become sick and to make them grow faster.

Last Sunday I made soup with small, vegetarian meatballs! Today it cooked spaghetti Bolognese and let me tell you that vegetarian meals can be so yummy. 

I’m almost vegan now, not quite though! I still eat eggs from time to time and cheese. The eggs come from chickens that have free range. I don’t eat eggs often the same goes for the cheese.

I’m only one person and there isn't a lot that I can do, but at least I can try to make the world a little bit better.

New Year's resolutions...

First I want to wish all of you a happy New Year!

New Year's resolutions... 

Yeah, I actually do have some! Nothing big though, because, I've been there and done that, and couldn't pull it off! Many people aim to:

Lose weight.

More exercise.

Quit smoking.

Less stress.

Stop drinking, or drink less alcohol.

Spend more time with their family.

Save some money.

I only have 2 New Year’s resolutions. 1. Don’t make stress where there is nothing to stress about! 2. Create more me time.

Like today, I wanted to spend the day writing on my book. Well, first there was the dog, he really needed his hair cut. So that’s what I did first. You see, Max has had a traumatic experience while being in the care of a nasty dog groomer. So ever since I groom him myself, because I promised him. After I finally finished grooming Max, it was lunch time. After lunch, I had to prepare the books for the accountant; you know last quarter of 2014 and stuff like that.

Also, I cleaned the bedroom, removed dust, because hubby has lung problems. So I always have to see to it, that especially the bedroom is dust free.

 

It’s 2 pm and finally it’s me time LOL. I’m watching Twilight - Breaking Dawn. Did you know that today, I watched Breaking Dawn for the first time, ever? I've never seen it before now, really!
