Vacation time.................

I’m sitting in the shade writing this blog, hubby is to the little airport were the Smart event/ get-together will take place starting on Wednesday. Its 30 degrees Celsius at the moment so sitting in the shade is the best option, for me anyways.

So far our vacation is wonderful, Koblenz was truly beautiful! After Koblenz came the black forest were we stayed for 4 nights, the area is magnificent, the weather…not so much! It was cold and moist, but I guess that’s normal when you camp in the middle of the forest. We visited a bear sanctuary; I loved to see the bears in their natural surroundings. All the bears that are in this sanctuary were abused and mistreated, their stories are heartbreaking humans can be monsters sometimes.

We are in Switzerland right now and here we will stay for 10 days. It’s nice and warm, I love it. The view is just marvelous, mountains, everywhere you look mountains. The water of the lake is so clear you can see all the way to the bottom, so beautiful. Here at Buochs I can replenish my energy, it’s so beautiful and peaceful here. I love the Swiss food and desserts so yummy, I took li’ll Max so often for a walk to the lake, and this morning we took him to Luzern he doesn’t want to walk anymore. If a show him the leash, he simply looks the other way and then he closes his eyes again. The famous Kappel-Brücke in Luzern was partly destroyed by a fire 20 years ago and today august 18th was the official opening of the bridge and we were there, brilliant don’t you think?

I planned on getting some work done during the vacation but, I’m simply too tired. I think that was to be expected after powering for nearly a year my mind is kinda empty right now. So I really will use the vacation to get as much rest as I can get, that way I’ll be fit when I get back home and can start working right away. Also I have a few new ideas for my next book, just have to work it all out in my head then I can start with the writing.

We met all kind of people on the different camping grounds, we met a family who brought their handicapped son along, so nice to see a family that is so tight.  I mean the boy was in a wheelchair and he couldn’t speak, he only could make noises. It always makes me sad to see people that are so severely handicapped and this boy was so young. Next to us stays an American family with their 2 kids, they are nice and their kids very well behaved. Last night we put 4 arrogant Swiss people in their place LOL. I worked and lived for 2 years in Switzerland that was 24 years ago and still, some things, never change. Most of the Swiss young adults are so very arrogant unfortunately, but the older ones are really nice and helpful though. Switzerland is very expensive even simple things like grocerihough. donng. ead then i ell behaved. Last night we put 4 arrogant es are super expensive.

So that’s it for now! I want to catch up with my reading.
